Attention to Detail Makes for Killer Content
Ok this is a simple and entertaing video animation that looks at parallel parking and has a surprise ending. Ham.
But after watching it and having a chuckle check out the incredible detail in the animation modeling. There is so much stuff going on for this simple idea. I use this to illustrate that great work can make a simple idea even better. It’s the attention to detail that will make your post, tweet or other online content stand out. So don’t just cut and paste your content. Bring some detail to your content and people will be more motivated to read, watch or comment on your work.
Parallel Parking from Yum Yum London on Vimeo.
A peeling no entry sticker. Not a flat sticker put a peeling on. Also the bottom of the door has ware-and-tear (not shown).
A missing Green coach poster and a sign for hame in the parking space. Brilliant punchline foreshadowing that was lost to me till I watched the animation a 3rd time.
Why is there a sheep in the truck and what is the sticker (not show) in the back window for?
I didn’t see the read kill till the second viewing. I need to drink stronger coffe in the morning.
Not only is there a person i the store window but she is buying a plant.
Did you see the dog and water dish? The dog must belong to the store owner or the person buying the plant.
The sleeping cat was an easy catch.
Is that a dinosaur on the car window?
The blue Twitter birds in the foreground.
So now that you have looked at the video in HD a second time you start to appreciate the effort this animator is putting into such a simple piece of work. Check out another animation by the creator. An amazing opening screen that is only used once. How many details can you see and can you find the foreshadowing in it?
